Amanda began Yoga more than 20 years ago while working in the corporate world. Amanda found

that Yoga helped her deal with the stress of work-life and provided a great sense of balance. Yoga

became so much more than a physical experience but more nurturing the inner self.

While living in Australia, Asia, and Europe, Amanda practiced many different Yoga styles and visited

many workshops and retreats. In 2013 Amanda followed her passion and felt ready to complete her

Yoga Alliance Teaching Certification and share with others the great benefits. Yoga can bring.

Amanda is a Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher and a Certified Master Coach; she continues her

professional development with her mentor Shy Sayar from Tantravaya, Yoga, and in workshops with

international teachers. Amanda is also the founder of Onlyyoga in Auckland.


Tuesdays: 9.15am to 10.30am  with Leslie

Midfield Yoga adhering to Swarmi Satyananda Sarawati's Yoga lineage. 

A gentle style of yoga aiming to bring spiritual practice into daily life and providing the health benefits of unwinding, stretching, balancing... and laughing! Sessions include - asana postures, pranayama, breathing exercises and dhyana meditation. All are welcome!

Lesley has been practicing and teaching yoga for 12 years. She started as she felt she wanted to reinvent herself after qualifying as an osteopath, having four wonderful children then becoming a single mother which was quite overwhelming. But yoga quickly goes beyond finding an honest living, she feels it is a most helpful guide to any path in life. In 2008 she had the good fortune to go to India with a group lead by Yogamani Sarswati, staying in Ashram in Bihar. She is very thankful for the love to the souls of her feet for that incredible place and time.

She has since study and become a Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist and finds this compliments her yoga practice.


Wednesdays: 8pm to 9pm with Paula

Yin Yoga $ Reiki Healing 

Yin Yoga is a gentle practice for everyone. The longer held poses allow space to be created in the body and mind. Combining with hands on Reiki healing helps to take you to a deeper state of peace and tranquility, healing, harmonising and restoring balance on all levels. Join Paula, Reiki Master, for a deeply relaxing yin Toga & Reiki healing experience.

Bring your own mat, blanket and pillow for extra comfort and support.

Paula became aware of the profound healing effect from her very first yoga experience. Completing 300 hours of yoga training to date she has found her true passion in Yin Yoga. She trained as a Reiki Master in 2005, she loves combining both Yin Yoga and Reiki Healing and believes the two disciplines to be very complimentary. She believes yoga is for everybody and everyone and through its practice can not only improve our physical and mental wellbeing but allows us to realise and connect to our true nature and essence.

A spiritual seeker, with a love of people and healing, Paula worked as a nurse in Scotland for over twenty years before moving to New Zealand and now enjoys sharing her knowledge teaching first aid.

Gentle Yoga/Exercise Class

8 week programme commencing 13 February (no class 20 March or 3 April)

Joy-full, gentle yoga and general exercise, with awareness, staying connected to the body and the gentle breath, including: stretching, strengthening and stability (balancing) exercises, gentle breath meditation and deep relaxation (coming into stillness).

Anne Scott presents and inspires others through how she lives – she lives her life from the inner-most part of herself: the part that is naturally glorious, loving and still. She sees others as equally glorious. Anne is a qualified Yoga teacher and Esoteric Healing practitioner. She has taught yoga, aqua aerobics and general fitness continuously since 1997, as well as stress prevention and management techniques.
